Central Asia

Central Asia is definitely my favourite part of the world: vast, wild, and endlessly fascinating. I’ve spent four months exploring Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, and I want to keep returning because of its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and the warmth of its people.

This region is perfect for independent travellers seeking adventure off the beaten track. From the alpine valleys and nomadic life of Kyrgyzstan to the Silk Road cities of Uzbekistan and the endless Kazakh steppe, Central Asia offers a mix of culture, nature, and authentic experiences – all remarkably underrated and budget-friendly.
